Goodbye Berlin

After two weeks in Italy, we have spent the few enjoyable days in the rejuvenated Berlin.

Tomorrow we shall be flying back to Italy to visit Rome and Sorrento/Amalfi Coast.

Turin is a nice place

We went to Turin for a day trip today. The journey was long (took almost 2 hours by train from/to Milan). But Turin turned out to be a surprisingly nice place. Spacious, relaxing and metropolitan.

Wile we picked Lake Como and Bergamo as two of the three day trips we would be taking from Milan right from the beginning of my trip planning, I was not so sure where should be the third one. Originally, I chose Verona, but changed my mind to Pavia to avoid the long journey. At the end, on recommendation from a "local expert" on a travel forum, I chose a long journey to Turin.

D1: Milan

After almost 24 hours on the road (and in the air), we finally arrived at the Milan hotel where we'll be staying for 4 nights. Hopefully I can get a good rest tonight and start sightseeing tomorrow fully recharged.
